Who is Brenda Bas?
Brenda Bas is passionate about nutrition and its effects on our vitality.
In 2008, Brenda Bas moved to a rural location on the edge of Soest and started a vegetable garden there as a hobby. Growing vegetables of all varieties became a passion when she noticed how delicious they were and the effect they had on herself and her family.
Eating more fresh vegetables made everyone feel significantly fitter than before. She studied its healthy effects, became a nutritional expert and became fascinated by the power of green leafy vegetables in particular. It became the start of Greenyourself.
With a husband who works in the health sector and who stated in 2008 that the health care system in the Netherlands was no longer affordable, Brenda decided to focus on 'the other side of the coin': if we eat better, our body becomes stronger and healthier. The logical consequence will be that our healthcare system, which is considered one of the best in the world, can be maintained. Win win.
After thorough study, Brenda decided to process the fresh fruit and vegetables from her vegetable garden with a high-speed blender. The powerful motor and high rotational speed of a high-speed blender can open the tough cell walls of leafy vegetables and release all healthy substances, resulting in more vitality and a healthy weight. And with the right recipes, the result is also very tasty.
Brenda also completed a 3-year coaching course that gave her a thorough foundation as a lifestyle coach to guide people to a healthier lifestyle, both physically and mentally.
